The different information is presented to help but as with anything when in QUESTION/DOUBT ask your vetenarian . The information is gathered and passed along so that you may better understand your companion bird.
Most of the pages will be reference pages with links to different sites about a specific breed or breeds depending on what that sites/individuals have for sell or information that they present.
I started rasing birds in the mid 1960. At that time there was little in the way of information that was avaliable as freely as it is now in the 2000. I started with finches which were housed in a community avery/breeding setup. I had about 10 different species of finches at that time and only maintained one pair per species. This helped me pay for college until I was graciously accepted by the military. This put my raising birds on hold for the next 7 years of my life. Since 1965
I have raised Macaws, Congos, Cockattoo, Cockatiels, Conures, Lories, Finches, Parakeets, Australian Gassland Parakeets as well as other. I must say here that my favorite birds are the Austrailian Grassland Parakeets in particular the Redrumps.
